    • Obituary Notice
      October 20, 1893 - January 21, 1924

Word was received here Monday evening that James H. Strutton, of Crocker, had died at a government hospital in St. Louis at 5:30 Monday evening. The body was brought to Crocker Wednesday afternoon and we understand that funeral services will be held Sunday after which the body will be laid to rest in Concord cemetery near town.

Mr. Strutton, who served overseas in the World War and was seriously gassed, had spent much time in hospitals since the close of the war and was at St. Louis for further treatment when the end came. Jim was an industrious young man, highly respected and had many friends. He leaves a wife and two children. We are unable to secure accurate information as to his army record, age, etc., for this issue but hope to publish complete obituary next week.
